Mr. Donovan is the Affiliated Santé Group’s Director for the Baltimore County Crisis Response System. In addition, he is part of a multi-disciplinary practice located in Lutherville, Maryland. He earned a B.A. in English from University of Baltimore and completed his M.S.W. at the School of Social Work at the University of Maryland Baltimore. Working in the addiction mental health field since 1987, he has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and couples and families. He also has formal training in brief psychotherapy and CISM. Some of his clinical interests are family therapy techniques with adolescent substance abusers, effects substance use on family functioning, the relationship between families and larger systems and various theories how people change.
