Mrs. Wentsel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from DePauw University in Indiana, a Master of Science degree in School Counseling from Purdue University in Indiana, and has taken advanced studies in Administration and Supervision from Loyola College of Maryland. She has Certification from Maryland State Department of Education in Elementary Education, School Counseling, Counseling Supervision, and Administration. She has been employed by Harford County Public Schools since 1988 as an elementary and high school counselor and Department Chairperson, and since 1997 as Supervisor of the School Counseling program. She joined the SPEAK Board in 2004.
